Deadpool concept art from Wolverine movie

Deadpool in Wolverine didn't look much like Deadpool. He looked like Ryan Reynolds with two swords. And while I like the take on the team (and would have liked to have seen more of them in action than just the demonstrations) looking more real world than comic-booky, I wished there was a way to more visually tie Reynold's Deadpool to the comic version. Looks like the concept artist thought the same thing.


Frankly I thought Weapon 11 blew. Wolverine's claws were already too big, but I could accept them because they were so integral to the character and that realistic size claws would be almost invisible on the screen. But arm-katanas? GTFO.
