Republicans hate D&Ders?

Check out this potshot someone on McCain's staff took at D&D players. It's one thing when we make fun of ourselves, but when someone else does it, implying we're a bunch of lazy unpatriotic liberals, it's time to roll initiative!

That was a good idea, for a campaign for a presidential candidate who does not know how to use email to disparage a subculture that is predominantly online...Smooth...Doesn't matter, I suppose, he won't know we're talking behind his back anyway...Good thing there's absolutely no way to mobilize a grassroots campaign or do fundraising or anything like that on Teh Interwebs...(Can I quote the Washington Post here? "He raised $91 million in the first two months of 2008 alone, most of it in small amounts over the Internet.")

*sigh*

(I did enjoy the comment in the apology post that likened Congress to a pack of kobolds, however...)
