A new Star Wars movie in the works!

On August 15, Lucasfilm and WB will release an animated Clone Wars movie prior to the animated series starting its run. Check out the story here.


If this is as good as the original animated shorts, it could be awesome.

I have yet to be impressed with the art for this series. I love cartoony looking animation just as much as I love photo-realistic animation (ala, Beowulf).

But there's something about this Star Wars stuff that I don't like.

Another thing I don't like is that George Lucas doesn't seem to want to quit humping Ep. 1-6. WTF!? Whatever happened to the New Republic?? Legacy?? I'm tired of this time-line.

My hope is that if this does well it will lead to further productions which would include the EU material.
