Advice for the GOP

Do not let the Conservative Christians bully you into putting Huckabee on the ticket with McCain. They will tell you that you need to do this to bring them in line, since many consider McCain not "conservative enough".

Before you buy into this, ask yourself: what are they going to do if you don't?

Vote for Hillary?

Can you say empty threat?

Putting Huckabee on your ticket will just alienate the center. Because who do you think is scarier to the moderates... Hillary or the chance the theocrat could end up president if something happens to McCain?

Remember, you don't need to win over the Religious Reich, you need to win over the middle.

Aside from the fact that in this case, McCain is older than god, so the choice of a running mate could be Very Important Indeed...

And oh, FYI, voting for Hillary in the primaries is a vote for a Republican president, because gods forbid she gets the Democratic nomination, she will mobilize the Reich against her like you cannot even imagine...

As if losing Thompson wasn't bad enough, then we lost Romney. Now I'm really torn because McCain is a nightmare. He's darn near a RINO, but he does have some good conservative credentials. My only hope is he picks someone like Condelisa Rice for VP, or Mitt Romney. I don't see him taking Huckabee, they hate each other. But then again, Reagan hated Bush Sr. too.

As for Hillary? Please, this supposed "reich" is BS. Hillary is her own worst nightmare. And Obama? I have a pair of underwear with more experience than he has. Most intelligent people won't turn over the helm to someone who's most impressive line on the resume is Chicagoland realestate scams. Unless McCain picks and idiot like Huckabee or Jeb Bush (like him, but don't do it), the Republicans will win. And since my party (Libertarians) can't put down the bong long enough to get it together, I'm pulling the red lever every time.

And guys? Let's be realistic here. What would you fear most, a society based on Christian ideals, or the dream of the left in a completely "godless" society? True, they'd take care of the bible thumping morons for us. Then they'd come for the pagans next. Like it or not, we are part of the religeous people of this nation. Might be time to pick a side, because the godless are mobilizing and we're on the radar.

The godless wouldn't bother with the pagans... in general most pagans are far to the left and are too disorganized to be viewed as any threat.

As for Hillary... another guy's tagline says it best:

"Excuse me, I have to go to work now. Millions are depending on me for their welfare check."
