San Diego bans Wal-Mart

While they aren't the first ones they are probably the biggest. And Wal-Mart has already challenged a similar ban and lost.
I wonder if a point will come where Wal-Mart will get too big? After all, it had a bad Black Friday and negatively impacted the stock market. The government forced the Bells to break up. Yes, I realize there is a difference between phone utilities and retail, but could someone make a case for Wal-Mart stifling competition due to their sheer size.
Just some random thoughts... I'm not a lawyer, an economist, or a politician. What do I know?
