And that was the good news in the RPG business. This article shows a pretty dismal outlook of the RPG business all the way from publishers to game stores (between 5% to 20% closed down last year, which sadly is an improvement).

I heard from a WotC rep that they are in negotiation will the Evil Empire (A.K.A. Wal-Mart) to get in all their stores. If the Evil Empire starts stocking all of the WotC books it's going to completely kill small local gaming stores like me.
Yikes! Hopefully if that comes to pass they will be as competitively priced as they are on videogames (as in not).
