Smallville 100

Ok, I really can't go into this episode without some serious spoilers, so most of my stuff will be in the comments.

There is also !Spoiler! an article on Just Jared with pictures.

Remember, the links and comments are spoilers.

My original prediction was Chloe. But then Clark revealed everything to Lana, he proposed, she said yes... that marked her for death. They were too happy.

But when she died, there was still over half the episode to go. Then they used one of the most cliched sci fi plot mechanisms ever... conveniently, there was just 1 time travel crystal in the FoS.

Shenanigans!

So when Clark tells Chloe everything, I figure she'll die trying to help Clark save Lana, he'll be wracked with guilt still, and in a few epsiodes find some stuff she was working on for a story, decide to finish it, and continue down the path of becoming a reporter.

I was wrong. They offed Jonathon with a convenient heart attack. And of course, Clark totally screws up his relationship with Lana. You ever get mad at characters on the tv when they are being stupid?

You know who I was cheering for!

I thought that Lana was going to be in the car with Lex driving drunk, giving Clark another reason to hate Lex.

Early on in the episode Clark makes a comment to his dad about not being able to go on without him...I figured that put the big red X on him. Plus, it conveniently closes the karma circle that was created when Clark originally made the deal with Jor-El to save Johnathan's life.

Needless to say, storylines where the father dies are hard for me to deal with. I was pretty much a wreck by the time the episode was over.

Well, we know they won't off Lois.

I did like the quip Chloe made: "What did you do, spin the Earth backwards on its axis?"

And I still think Jor-el is inside Lionel's head. The question is... how much of what happened was Lionel, or Jor-el?

Another reason why Clark should have left Lana dead...Chloe has known Clark's secret for how long now, and has been so good at hiding it that even he didn't know that she knew. Lana knows the secret for less than 12 hours and Clark's already in a panic that she's going to blab to Lex. Somebody needs to stop thinking with the little head and start thinking with the big head!

Since I know they can't kill Lois outright, I'm hoping for some sort of weird accident that puts Chloe's personality into Lois's body.
