Serenity's sunset?

Evidently there was an article in Entertainment Weekly titled 'Adios Firefly' in which Whedon is quoted as saying he is done with Serenity.

It appears that EW, being a typical example of fine entertainment journalism, quoted him out of context.

He posted on Whedonesque, but it gets a little confusing with the turnips and bunions.
